Blueberries-SuperFood? Blueberries were
one of only fourteen "SuperFoods",
identified by Dr Steven Pratt in his
best selling book "SuperFoods Rx".
They are low in fat, sodium free
and a good source of fibre, Zinc,
Manganese and Vitamins E & C.
Blueberries are literally bursting with
nutrients and flavour, yet very low in
calories. Recently, researchers at
Tufts University USA, analised 60
fruits and vegetables for their
antioxidant capability. Blueberries
came out on top, rating highest in
their capacity to destroy free radicals.
